Sustainable Coconut 2025 & World Coconut Congress 2025
The global coconut industry is entering a pivotal moment. As demand surges—driven by plant-based trends and the EU’s phase-out of palm oil by 2030—Asia’s coconut sector faces a steep productivity challenge. Millions of aging trees across the region yield only a fraction of their potential, threatening farmer livelihoods and risking major supply shortages. With markets increasingly relying on coconut-based food, cosmetic, and industrial products, the need for rapid replanting and sustainable production has never been more urgent.
The Philippines is leading the response with its commitment to replant 50 million coconut trees by 2026. This national effort, along with wider regional strategies, will be central to discussions at the Roundtable on Sustainable Coconut 2025 and the World Coconut Congress 2025—two of the industry’s most influential gatherings.
Koltiva will actively participate, bringing insights from our global work building transparent, climate-smart coconut supply chains. Our team will highlight practical pathways for revitalizing the sector, focusing on farmer financing, regenerative agriculture, and digital traceability systems that support compliance and long-term resilience.
During the event, Andre Dani Mawardhi will join a key panel to share results from Koltiva’s Meta-Analysis of Low Carbon and Regenerative Agriculture for Coconut, offering actionable recommendations for governments, processors, and buyers navigating the industry’s looming supply and social challenges.
