These centres are the foundation of a transformative model, where Koltiva serves as the incubator during the first year, guiding them towards complete independence by year two.

In many rural areas, women are the backbone of agriculture, managing the finances and demonstrating exceptional digital literacy. Despite this, leadership opportunities often remain out of reach. KoltiHub is changing that by placing women at the forefront of our sustainable sourcing centres.
We are committed to equipping women with the necessary skills in financial literacy, technology, and business management, positioning them as the primary users of our innovative platforms—FarmGate (transactional traceability) and FarmRetail (business management). These women will oversee the finances and growth of the business, ensuring its long-term success and sustainability.
To further drive this transformation, we are implementing a gender-inclusive strategy within Koltiva itself. Our recruitment efforts are focused on empowering women to join our field teams, with a special focus on mentoring and developing female graduates.
By attracting and supporting more women from the sourcing communities, we are building a pipeline of female leaders who will drive the KoltiHub ecosystem forward and open doors for others to achieve financial independence.
Empowering Youth to Lead the Future of Farming
KoltiHub is committed to engaging the next generation of agricultural leaders—young producers. These young producers will play a central role in transforming their communities by becoming community trainers within KoltiHub.
Through hands-on training with Koltiva’s Supplier Engagement and Producer Engagement Officers, these youth will gain the skills needed to train local farmers, develop demo plots, and lead group sessions on sustainable practices.
To ensure their commitment, young producers will be incentivized by receiving a share of the premium paid to KoltiHub for providing traceable, sustainable crops.
By giving them ownership and responsibility, we not only secure the future of KoltiHub but also build a legacy of youth-led agricultural innovation.
This approach will ignite passion, drive, and the spirit of entrepreneurship among young farmers, empowering them to become key players in the future of agriculture.
