Indonesia’s palm oil sector stands at a critical turning point. Fragmented value chains, high dependency on independent smallholders, and persistent data gaps continue to obstruct progress toward full transparency. Meanwhile, stagnant production, overlapping regulations, and forest governance issues threaten both national output and the livelihoods of millions of workers connected to the palm oil economy.

The Bincang & Tanggap (BINTANG) Sustainable Landscape Program Indonesia (SLPI) provides a timely platform to address these challenges.
