Marine conservation workshop with fisheries experts discussing digital traceability and ocean sustainability in Bali.

📅 October 27–29, 2025
⏰ Full-day workshop sessions
📍 CTC Center for Marine Conservation, Bali

Indonesia has committed to protecting 30% of its marine areas by 2045, yet the reliability of seafood supply chain data remains a major barrier to achieving this national goal. Fragmented reporting systems, particularly in wild-capture fisheries, continue to undermine governance efforts. A 2024 study revealed that less than 25% of reported tuna e-logbook data was usable after verification—highlighting severe gaps in data integrity and the persistent risk of Illegal, Unreported, and Unregulated (IUU) fishing. This weakens enforcement, reduces the effectiveness of Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), and creates obstacles for sustainable fisheries management.

Koltiva is proud to join the Ocean Innovation Challenge (OIC) Workshop, held from October 27–29, 2025, organized by The Nature Conservancy (TNC). The workshop brings together leading conservation practitioners, policymakers, and innovators to co-design actionable solutions for strengthening MPA governance and improving fisheries transparency.

Represented by Adhiet Utomo, Business Development Manager, Koltiva will present how our GDST-compliant KoltiTrace platform serves as a critical governance engine. By integrating verifiable Sea-to-Table data with monitoring systems, KoltiTrace supports Indonesia’s “30x45” conservation agenda and lays the foundation for innovation pilots launching in 2026.

This workshop marks a strategic milestone for aligning cutting-edge technology with national marine conservation priorities—and advancing the future of Indonesia’s ocean stewardship.
