Unlocking the Benefits of Traceability in Palm Oil Supply Chain

In response to growing demands from various stakeholders for enhanced transparency within supply chains, numerous companies continue to fall short of meeting these expectations. The intricacies of the global supply chain and the absence of standardized data present significant challenges for companies striving to demonstrate their products' compliance with sustainability standards and specific regulations. In accordance with this issue, research conducted by TradeHub has indicated that the adoption of traceable supply chain practices remains limited, with a lack of industry-wide consensus on traceability technologies and data formats.

Following up on this issue, WWF and the Trade Hub organized a webinar to comprehensively assess and discuss the current landscape within the realm of food traceability and the steps to enhance supply chain transparency. This series will place particular emphasis on the traceability aspects of crucial agricultural supply chains, including palm oil.

Our Head of Programs, Meg Phillips, will be a featured speaker in the Unlocking the Benefits of Traceability in Palm Oil Supply Chain at Webinar Series: Traceability in Food Supply Chain. In this session, she will explain how Koltiva provides traceability for the global supply chain, highlighting the Sawit Terampil program as a study case to enhance traceability for the Palm Oil Supply chain which will contribute to the transparency of the global supply chain.
