Financial markets can be crucial in promoting sustainable development and addressing environmental challenges. It redirects financial flows toward environmentally-friendly projects and investments, such as renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, green infrastructure, and biodiversity conservation. This is what we called as green finance, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, conserve natural resources, and support the transition to a green economy. Additionally, green finance can help drive innovation and develop new technologies by increasing the demand for environmentally-friendly investments.
Learn how the SME Finance Forum, Managed by the IFC (International Finance Corporation) and its member work together and share their experiences developing and implementing profitable and environmentally effective green finance for SMEs on the SME Green Finance Virtual 1st CoP (Community of Practice).
Our CEO, Manfred Borer, will present and share our green finance strategies. During this first meeting, the SME Green Finance Community of Practice (CoP) will share the green finance business survey results, which show where the members are innovating, growing, and striving in this crucial area.
